The Business School is one of the largest School’s in Newcastle University and continues to grow in both size and stature. We have around 90 staff, many leading academics recruited as experts in their field from both inside and outside the UK. There has been considerable investment over the past 10 years at the Business School, both in terms of our buildings and also our human capital. This has included the recruitment of leading academic figures to further develop our taught programmes, knowledge base and research capabilities. 

In keeping with the University’s worldwide reputation the School attracts some of the brightest students from across the globe. Our portfolio of programmes have a strong international focus and are constantly updated to ensure they provide students with the latest professional and research knowledge and the best possible learning experience.  Many programmes provide student with work placements or introduce leading guest speakers from industry. We also actively encourage our students to develop their own practical entrepreneurial skills and this is build in to some of our business enterprise programmes and is optional for many others.
