Prof. Feng Li
Profile:
For two decades, Feng’s research has centraly focused on the intersections between information systems and changes in the strategies, business models and organisational designs of leading organisations - also known as 'strategic and organisational innovations'. He is particularly interested in the Internet and E-business, including E-Government and E-Learning. He has worked closes with organisations in banking, telecommunications, car manufacturing, retailing, electronics, the creative industries and the public sectors, through Research, Consultancy and Executive Management Programmes.
Feng and his colleagues are currently looking at the business implications of emerging technologies and applications, including Web 2.0, Social Networking and MMOROPGs - Massively multi-player online role play games. Web 2.0 and Social Networking are leveraging the so-called 'collective intelligence', which is increasingly reflected in emerging strategies, business models and organisational designs. MMORPGs are becoming an integral part of the emerging business environment with huge opportunities and challenges for businesses, government and indviduals - increasingly we have to living in 'multiple spaces' incorporating the physical, electronic and virtual spaces. Their full implications are still poorly understood today.
